What’s up guys, Chigz here from Chigz Tech Reviews. So today I’ve got my hands on the brand new Doogee T20 Android tablet. So this is a brand new affordable Android tablet running full Android 12, giving you a very stock-like Android experience with absolutely no bloatware included.

It has a brand new chipset and supports dual 4G sims for data and phone cores, making this a full-featured tablet and smartphone in one. Now the current price is around 170 pounds or just under 200 dollars and for that price you’re getting a pretty decent build quality, with a complete metal case, finished in this rather nice ice blue color and you can also pick this up in space grey or mint green.

Now the tablet is also quite slim and light at only 7.9mm thin and weighing just 479 grams. And inside the box you get a user manual, you get an 18 watt Type-C fast charger, a Type-C to Type-C charging cable. This comes with a transparent cover case finished in blue and you also get a cool looking stylus pen and of course the tablet itself.

Now on the front you are looking at a 10.4 inch fully laminated IPS display with a screen res of 1200 by 2000 and around 380 nits of peak brightness. You’re getting quite a wide aspect ratio, so certainly good for watching your favourite videos and movies.

And to enhance that experience further, you are getting quad speakers. So you’ve got two on the right and two on the left, side firing speakers. Making it overall, very decent experience for your movies and games and the screen is certainly not bad. Bright and sharp with punchy contrast.

Bezzles do exist, but they’re quite narrow and if I bring in my 2020 iPad Pro 11 you can see the bezels are very similar on both tablets, but the Doogee has a much wider aspect ratio. So at the bottom, we’ve got two speakers, a Type-C charging port and your SIM card tray.

And if I quickly show you, you have a hybrid SIM tray, which can take two 4G Nano SIM cards at the same time or one Nano SIM and one MicroSD card up to one terabyte. Now if you do insert a SIM card, this tablet not only gives you your data on the go, but also turns the tablet into a full featured smartphone.

So you can actually make and receive calls on this. Now on this side you will find your volume rocker and power button and at the top of the tablet you’ll find two more speakers and if we keep going, on this side you will see a microphone hole and Pogopins in the middle for an optional keyboard accessory.

Now this tablet is powered by the new Unisoc T616, which is a 12nm octa-core chip clocked at 2.0Ghz and combined with the integrated Mali G57 graphics. You also get a generous 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM which can be extended to 15GB of RAM using 7GB of virtual memory and also internal storage is also quite generous. You get 256 gigs of UFS 2.1 storage.

So decent power and performance to run any game from the Play Store on low to medium graphical settings. Here is a quick look at the COD graphics settings. So maximum graphics and frame rate you’ve got medium and high. So plenty of power and performance to run any game or app from the Play Store on low to medium graphical settings.

Furthermore this tablet has dual band Wi-Fi AC you’ve got Bluetooth version 5 and I was able to connect my PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 controllers quite easily. You also got a built in multi satellite GPS as well.

Now let’s talk about the cameras. On the back we have a 16 megapixel camera with LED flash and that is actually a Samsung sensor and on the front over here in the middle we have an 8 megapixel selfie camera. Now to be totally honest both cameras are pretty bad quality. They don’t even look like real 8 megapixel or 16 megapixel sensors. The results certainly look interpolated. So don’t expect amazing camera experience but at least the front sensor does a decent job for video calls via WhatsApp Skype etc.

Now this tablet has a massive 8300mAh battery built in and it’s quite remarkable how do you manage to keep the tablet slim and light at only 7.9mm even with that big battery.
