Should you buy a new M1 iMac. If you asked me yesterday, I’d say – I’m not convinced. If you asked me now – I have my answer. The new #m1imac comes in 7 colors blue, green, pink, silver, yellow, orange and purple. It’s extremely thin at only 11mm and has a 4.5K display that looks absolutely fantastic.
There are 7 core GPU and 8 core GPU models, both with an 8 core CPU. The latter comes with 2 UBC 3 ports in addition to the 2 thunderbolt/USB 4 ports and we’re also getting a Gigabit Ethernet port on that one.
The camera system has been significantly improved in terms of quality and has a really interesting new feature called Centerstage where it keep track of the person in the frame in real time and reframes the shot.
There is also a better microphone and a 6 speaker audio system. All in all the M1 #appleiMac looks like a powerful productivity machine and an amazing media consumption desktop.
