How to Install LibreElec 7.0.2 on a Raspberry Pi 3 2 1 B+ 0 Zero

In this Instructable, I’m going to show you how to install LibreELEC on your Raspberry Pi.

If you enjoy this Instructable, consider checking out my TechWizTime YouTube Channel.

And for a good source of Raspberry Pi products, check out my Raspberry Pi Amazon List.

Let’s get started!

What You’ll Need

Download the Image

Go to https://libreelec.tv/

Scroll down to “Direct Downloads”

Select your Raspberry Pi system.

Scroll down a bit more to see the direct download link, click on it and wait for the download to finish.

Write the Image

Open up Etcher and Click “Select Image”.

Select the LibreELEC Image we just downloaded.

Click on “Select Drive” to select the Drive you want your image to be copied to.

NOTE: Remember to select the correct one, as the process will be messed up if you don’t choose the right one.

Click on “Flash” and wait for it to copy the image to your SD Card.

After it is done, it’ll automatically unmount the SD Card so you can take it from your Computer to continue the process on your Raspberry Pi.

Boot Into LibreELEC

Place the MicroSD Card into your Raspberry Pi.

The system will load up, and it will eventually reboot.

After the reboot is done, you’ll see a First Time Setup screen, go thru it to properly configure and personalize your LibreELEC installation.

Installation of LibreELEC Finished

Congratulations, you’ve just installed LibreELEC in your Raspberry Pi, configured it, allowed the installation of plugins and themes and that’s it for this tutorial.

Could you install it by yourself? Did you had any problems during the installation? Have any suggestion? Then leave a comment below.
