Huawei Watch GT3 (Stainless Steel) – Brutally Honest Review – iOS Compatibility – Should you Buy?

Reviewing the newly launched Huawei Watch GT3, I have the stainless steel version, which is priced at £299, but you can also pick up a much cheaper active model for only £229.

The Huawei Watch GT3 is 46mm in diameter, watch case is made from Stainless Steel, finished in a shiny Silver colour. There are time markings going all the way round, with a tiny bezel in between and smooth ceramic finish on the back. So no doubt super premium build quality.

Runing Hamony OS v2.1.0 and this is actually a lighter version of the HarmonyOS, compared to what we saw in the Huawei Watch 3 pro. Huawei Watch GT3 comes with a beautiful 1.43” AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 466 x 466 and 326ppi but no gorilla class protection included.

The Huawei Watch GT3 is Powered by an ARM Cotex-M which seems like a completely new chip, but with only 32MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. You do have 1.5GB allocated to music storage, but for Android/Harmony OS only, iOS does not support Music transfer or Celia Voice Assistant.

In this video I have tested and tried to pair the Huawei Watch GT3 with iPhone 13 Pro, Pixel 6, Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 and Huawei P40 pro. Sharing all my thoughts and experiences in detail.
